Fred Alarcon first went into business for himself in 2000 after contracting to an Auckland waterproofing company for 8 years. His business grew very quickly and successfully won and completed many Commercial projects (Britomart Station, St Kentigern College, Telstra Clear, The Auckland Performing Arts Centre etc...) as well as residential properties in the greater Auckland area.
Fred however found that how the business was structured that he was not involved in the actual application of the materials in the latter years which was the area he had become so successful at and enjoyed the most. Therefore he decided to create NZ Waterproofing Specialists in order to get back on the tools and the overseeing of his jobs, once again working closely with his clients and ensuring commitment and outstanding workmanship in all of his contracts. All of NZ Waterproofing Specialists applicators have been trained by Fred himself, therefore ensuring that all work carried out is to his high standard.
Past clients will tell you that Fred is a rarity, surprising them with a phone call to update them with any changes, a delay, or even if he is going to be 5 minutes late to an appointment.
With over twenty five years experience and knowledge in the Waterproofing Industry and a high degree of skill in the application of all membranes Fred is able to provide you the client with work at the highest of standards to which he is proud.
